Homeowners Insurance Update – Help Your People Qualify
Higher Deductibles May Be The Answer!
The Problem:
Higher interest rates eliminate some potential buyers from being able to afford a home in today’s marketplace! They found the perfect house, applied for one of your great loans – and wham!! – They learn about the higher interest rates and higher payments and the dream starts to turn into a nightmare!
The Answer:
There’s no easy answer to the above situation but some relief can be found in getting a higher deductible on their homeowner’s insurance coverage. The savings: 14% to as much as 42% off of their expected premium. The reduced premiums mean that their closing costs are reduced as well as their monthly payments – now and forever as long as they own the house.

Golf
Missing Golf Clubs!
Dear Jim: My golf clubs were taken out of my car while it was parked in the assigned parking spot near my apartment. The landlord denies any liability and my auto insurance company said they won’t cover it either. What’s up?
Answer: Personal property like golfclubs, stereo equipment, and things like Christmas presents are not covered by your auto insurance if they are stolen from your car. The landlord is also not responsible for your personal property. They usually mention this to you when you move into their complex. The answer to your problem would be to have a Renters Insurance policy that would protect your property anywhere in the world. Theft is only one of the perils covered by this type of policy and the premium is very affordable. A basic tenet of insurance planning is don’t risk a lot for a little. Get a Renters Insurance policy – you’ll be glad that you did if you suffer another loss.
